I had the privilege to be raised in two different countries. I am born in Mumbai, India and moved to Houston, Texas when I was eight years old. I got to experience two completely different type of childhood. As I like to say it, I got the best of both worlds. When I look back at my life, I can say that I am the girl who can adapt to my surrounding very easily. 

When I was in high school, I realized the only university that I wanted to go to was The University of Texas at Austin. One of the reason is because I come from a family with a business background. I grew up in a business minded environment. My father is an entrepreneur and my older brother is an investment banker. Which brings me to my other reason to why I wanted to come to this university and be part of McCombs School of Business. My older brother graduated from this university with a finance major. 

My older brother is my biggest inspiration in the world. He has guided me in life and whatever I am today, is because of him. He has always taught me to dream big and run behind the dream. He tells me to work hard but also tells me to enjoy life on the way. He is my biggest supporter and always picks me up when I fail. 

Today, I am a junior at the McCombs School of Business and as I stand here look at my achievements and people behind to support me, I can say it is time i get my feet wet and enter the corporate world!
